Rates are quoted on request and are inclusive of venue hire, 2 nights'
accommodation for 8 people, tables, chairs, wedding style cutlery, crockery,
glassware, table cloths and serviettes.
Greystones Beach House as a Wedding Venue:
For a discerning bridal couple in search of an affordable and intimate
wedding, Greystones is a tastefully furnished venue with
a difference. The ambiance, charm and location of this beachfront house,
with magnificent views of the lagoon, make Greystones a unique
setting for a wedding. As it is situated close to the
centre of Langebaan, bridal couples can take their vows
at a selection of local churches or be married on the beach or in the
spacious grounds of the property. The veranda, with a backdrop of beach,
sea and superb sunsets, can comfortably seat up to 35 guests for a buffet
event or host up to 50 guests for a cocktail style wedding.
Situated on a 1,500 sq metre property overlooking Schaapen Island and
with a Four STAR rating from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa,
Greystones is a spacious self-catering guesthouse with
accommodation for 8 people in 4 comfortably furnished
bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Please refer to The House page for more
details on what is provided in the house.
The property is surrounded by high hedges, which provide privacy and shelter
from the prevailing winds. If necessary, the veranda can also be shielded from the elements by transparent blinds. There are two lock-up garages and as well as additional parking available on the property for up to 10 cars.
The upstairs apartment of the house, with its own entrance, can be used
by the bridal entourage for dressing preparations, make-up and photographs
on the day of the wedding. The last 5 photographs, as seen at the bottom of this page, showcase the BRIDAL PREPARATION APARTMENT.
If they so wish, the newly married couple can return from their honeymoon
venue on the morning following the wedding to host their guests
for a bridal breakfast on the Greystones veranda.
The venue fee includes accommodation for two nights.
Guests are invited to check in on the morning of the first day and are
welcome to check out, late in the afternoon on the scheduled day of departure.
You may already have found your own wedding planner, but should you wish
to organise the event yourself, we can assist you with some of the things
that are required to make your dream wedding a reality.
Alternatively, we can also refer you to a local wedding planner.
