Events and Wedding Venue in Langebaan
For a discerning bridal couple in search of an affordable and intimate wedding, Greystones is a tastefully furnished venue with a difference.
The ambiance, charm and location of this beachfront house, with magnificent views of the lagoon, make it a unique setting for a wedding. As it is situated close to the center of Langebaan, bridal couples can take their vows at a selection of local churches or may be married on the beach or in the spacious grounds of the property.
The property is surrounded by high hedges which provide privacy and shelter from the prevailing winds. If necessary, the veranda can also be enclosed with translucent roll-down canvas blinds. There are two lock-up garages on the property as well as additional parking for up to 10 vehicles.
The veranda and the large expanse of lawn, together with a backdrop of the sea and superb sunsets, is a highly suitable venue for the hosting of buffet and cocktail receptions.
Buffet Wedding Receptions
- The veranda can comfortably seat up to 40 guests at 7 tables
- For buffet receptions of up to 60 guests it is possible to install a wooden deck on the lawn to accommodate additional tables and chairs
- The deck can also be used as a dance floor
- When hosting functions of up to 60 guests, it is advisable to hire a marquee or a Bedouin tent as the weather in Langebaan is unpredictable at any time of the year
- The cost of the deck and the tent are not included in the venue fee but can be arranged for you
Cocktail Receptions
- Up to 60 guests can be hosted on the veranda and the lawn area
- Although not essential for this number of guests, it is advisable to hire a marquee or
- a Bedouin tent due to the unpredictability of the weather in Langebaan
- The hiring of the wooden deck for cocktail events is optional

- The house must be booked for a minimum stay of 2 nights
- The guest house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests
- The upstairs flat is not included in the wedding package and is not available for rental
